How To Set Notification Sound In Android Phone

In order to set a custom notification sound for your Samsung Galaxy S III, you must place the sound file you wish to use in the Notifications folder on your phone's memory card. To do so, follow these steps:
1. Right-click on the sound file on your PC that you wish to use as a notification sound on your smartphone. Click on Copy in the context menu.
Note: this sound file must be an mp3.
2. Connect your smartphone to the PC with your USB data cable.
3. Your smartphone will show you different options for how it can connect to your PC. Touch the option USB mass storage.
4. An AutoPlay window may appear on your PC similar to the one below. (Your smartphone may register on the PC as a removable disk named with a different letter).
**Sometimes given Box may not appear (in Windows Other Version like Windows 10) 
6. Click on 'Open Folder to view files.
7. Open 'Notification' Folder and paste here your Mp3 file.
   **Even, you can do this process via phone
8. Disconnect phone when paste process will complete.
9.From your smartphone's Home screen touch App.
10. Touch Settings (you may need to swipe left or right to locate it first).
11.Touch Sound (you may need to touch the My Device tab first if your settings are divided among tabs).
12.Touch Default notifications (this may read as Default notification sound on your device).

13. Locate and touch the sound file you added and then touch OK.
14.  choose, all done.
